Impact Dance Academy Terms & Conditions
Please read this document carefully as it contains important information regarding our classes
1. Uniform: Our uniform consists of Black leotard, Black leggings or footless tights, Black jazz shoes, Black tap shoes. Alternatively, official impact dance academy practice wear can be worn. Uniform or practice wear MUST be worn at all classes. uniform rule will be relaxed for new dancers for 4 weeks from first class, thereafter it will be mandatory.
2. Absences: If your child is unable to attend any classes please ensure you notify Principal teacher at the earliest convenience. Attendance at class is important to ensure dancer development.
3. Fees: Class fees are to be paid via class4kids platform. There is no cash or alternative payment method. Fees must be brought up to date before attendance to first class of the month. Any fees unpaid by 5th of the month will incur a £5 late payment fee, any fees still unpaid by 10th of the month will result in child unable to attend classes until brought up to date.
4. Pick up & Drop off: please note your child’s class times, dancers should arrive promptly for class beginning. If child is running late this information must be passed on to principal to ensure the door is left open for arrival this also applies if you are running late for pick up. Dancers should be brought to outer door and class teacher will come collect them, this also applies for pick up with the exception of preschool gymnastics.
Please note no parent should enter the building without prior consent from the Principal teacher.
Competitor Rules
Please ensure you save these for future reference
· Any Dancer enrolled in our competitive classes must have full attendance to compete, if your child misses any classes or lessons the week of a competition and does not make them up, they will be unable to compete that week.
· In the instance of private lessons child should arrive 10 mins early to warm up and stretch to ensure they are ready to start at their allocated time.
· Any competition tickets requested must be paid regardless of changed plans or nonattendance to classes. PLEASE NOTE THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ANY FESTIVALS.
· Any competition tickets ordered must be paid by end of last class of the week (currently Friday 8:30pm)
· Costumes and dance wear must be discussed with principal teacher. No parent should take it upon themselves to purchase anything for competitions without prior consultation as child may not be permitted to wear/use item. This also applies to any alterations to current appearance.
· Routines are set by staff, no parent should be altering routines or suggesting they be altered. All staff are trained and experienced in their roles so this must be respected.
· All dancers should be in full comp attire on competition day you are there representing your school. Parents must be wearing their comp t-shirts too.
